If you are not keen on devotionals or study guides with scripture readings taken from different places in the Bible, Glory days by well-known author Max Lucado might appeal to you.
An easy to read journey throught the book of Joshua, leads the reader to discover the promises, challenges and rewards of moving into the life that God has planned for His children, but which, sadly, we so often miss.
Following the afterword and comprehensive notes added by the author, you will find a section, Questions for reflection, by David Drury. I would strongly suggest that each part is handled directly after the relevant chapter of the book. I did not, and now find that I am lacking continuity. I will definately put this book aside and later return to it from scratch, read each chapter and then move to the questions for relection.
The remaining pages are made up of a preview of Max’s daily devotional, God is with you every day. Two weeks worths, provides a good idea of what to expect from this devotional.
